We, at Apple Country Spirits, are proud to announce the launch of our first product: Tree Vodka. The release of this product represents over two years of hard work and long hours spent to build Wayne Counties first legal distillery since prohibition. Our vodka represents Wayne County, and Western New York because it is produced with apples grown on our fourth generation family farm, DeFisher Fruit Farms, here in the heart of Apple Country.
Tree Vodka will be the first in a line of products produced using our own fruits including peaches, cherries, pears and raspberries. Today, many spirits are produced using grains such as wheat, rye, barley and corn -- but traditionally they could be produced using anything that had fermentable sugars. Future products will include AppleJack, Brandies and Cordials.
We will be holding our grand opening event at the distillery on August 3 from 3pm to 7pm. The event will feature live music, food and tastings of tree vodka and several cocktails made using Tree Vodka. Tours of the facility and our tasting room will also be available. Our tasting room features a handmade bar and balcony constructed from salvaged wood from one of several 200 year old barns on the property.
Make sure to look for Tree Vodka on your local liquor stores shelves in the coming months, and if you do not see it, ask for it! Drink Locally and remember, always drink responsibly.
